Hōkūala, Timbers Kaua‘i, and the Ocean Course at Hōkūala are proud to partner with Folds of Honor, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to provide life-changing scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled military and first responders. 

Our third annual golf tournament fundraiser, Operation: Rising Star, will take place on Sunday, December 15th, 2024, at the Ocean Course at Hōkūala. Funds raised during this tournament directly benefit Folds of Honor scholarship recipients throughout the state of Hawai‘i — our main objective is to fulfill all qualified scholarship requests from families in the Hawaiian Islands. Each scholarship provided by Folds of Honor requires $5,000 in donations from events such as ours. 

We are humbled to join Folds of Honor in their mission and investing in our community, our youth’s education, and their future. In 2022 and 2023, Operation: Rising Star and our generous donors and participants contributed to more than 45 $5,000 educational scholarships.

Participant Entry

Entry fees cover greens fees, cart rental, on-course food and beverage, player gifts worth over $150, and cover the cost of the tournament operations so that all proceeds from sponsorships and auction items are 100% benefiting Folds of Honor.
